Research Interests: My main research interest is in dusty, star-forming galaxies. They contribute to the majority of star-formation in the Universe, yet they are elusive, being too faint in most UV/optical surveys. I'm interested in using infrared/submm/radio wavelengths (using JWST, Herschel, ALMA, and VLA) to find them and characterize their star-forming properties and dust attenuations. I use near-infrared spectroscopy (ground-based and space-based) to measure their nebular emission lines to compare the different star-formation tracers (i.e. Balmer/PAHs/cold dust).
