Research Interests: My research focuses on the intersection between star formation/galaxy evolution and time domain and multi-messenger astronomy (TDAMM). I am a part of large-area surveys designed to identify new galaxies in the local Universe, and I utilize the properties of potential host galaxies to provide more efficient searches for electromagnetic counterparts to gravitational wave events. I am also interested in finding supermassive black hole binaries that will be detectable by the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA). In addition, I help design, build, and maintain large-scale databases of galaxies that are used for a wide range of astrophysical research topics.
