Star formation is one of the main channels of galaxy size growth and evolution. However, often excluded in these studies are the faint, diffuse "edges" of galaxies, i.e., the outermost radial location where in situ star formation significantly drops off in these galaxies. In this seminar, we discuss how galaxy edges can be used as a physical definition of size and demonstrate how the edges of low mass, dwarf galaxies are influenced by the environment and stellar feedback.
