We perform a numerical simulation with Galacticus, a semi-analytical galaxy formation model (SAM), to predict the number counts of H-alpha and [OIII] emitting galaxies for future redshift surveys such as those planned for WFIRST and Euclid. I will introduce the main results of this work, including the calibration of the SAM and the dust model with latest observations of the H-alpha luminosity function, the prediction of the galaxy properties within the WFIRST redshift coverage, the number density of the emission line galaxies as well as their clustering properties, and how we can expect from the analysis of large scale structure to infer cosmological information.
