Research Interests: My research focuses on understanding dust physical properties, both in the diffuse ISM but, mostly, in dense star forming regions. This is where processes such as accretion and coagulation , as well as ice-coating formation, take place, leading sub-micron grains to grow first to the size of planetesimals and, eventually, of rocky planets. For my investigation, I use JWST and SPHEREx data, as well as ground-based data from IRTF, and archival Spitzer data. I am also interested in the general topic of Star Formation, especially how massive stars form and evolve.
