The following sections describe general guide-lines, etc. for each
step of the reduction process for a standard CIA based
reduction for the LW channel data. As a general rule (with all the
caveats generally applicable to general rules) the pipe-line reduced
ISOCAM images available through the archive can be used to obtain an
initial estimate of the quality of the ISOCAM data. These
guide-lines, etc. are presented as suggestion for further improving
the data quality, however, the level of success you might achieve by
using these guide-lines, etc. cannot be predicted.
