Solange Ramirez (Carnegie Observatories): "SDSS-V Instrumentation Program and Survey Status"

SDSS-V provides multi-epoch optical & IR spectroscopy across the entire sky, as well as offering contiguous integral-field spectroscopic coverage of the Milky Way and Local Volume galaxies. This spectroscopic survey continues the strong SDSS legacy of innovative data and collaboration infrastructure.I will present a summary of the SDSS-V survey program, details on the instrumentation development for the survey, and a brief summary of the status of the survey observations performed so far.
