Michael Ressler (JPL) -- A Special IPAC Lunch Talk on JWST/MIRI instrument and planned science programs by the GTO team

The JPL MIRI Project Scientist (not me individually) was awarded 60 (wall clock) hours of Guaranteed Time Observing on JWST. In this talk, I will give an overview of our science plans, how they follow from WISE and Spitzer studies, the observing strategies we chose in light of the significant overheads associated with JWST, and some lessons learned in using the ETC and APT planning tools that will be of value to the entire community.
