Simulated WIRE Images

These images were generated for the case of Moderate Density Evolution and a stellar density for one of the galactic poles. Individual 48-sec WIRE frames were generated, then background-subtracted, registered, and coadded to form the moderate-depth and deep survey images. Simulation by David Shupe (IPAC/JPL) and A. Kris Huber (Space Dynamics Lab/Utah State University).
