The three main PHT observing modes are photometry, spectrophotometry and
polarimetry. In the photometric mode PHT offers a number of possibilities
to observe point-like and extended sources. The observations can be made
with the chopper.
In the following sections these modes are described in detail. Chopping is regarded here as a general procedure applicable to several modes.
- Chopping
- Photometry - Single pointing multi-filter/multi-aperture
- Photometry - Multi-filter/multi-aperture rastering
- Photometry - Absolute photometry
- Photometry - Scans and Maps
- Photometry - Sparse maps
- Polarimetry
- Spectrophotometry
