The purpose of this analysis is to determine the completeness and reliability of the
point sources that were produced from the current 2mass pipeline processing
(K band only) of the M92 June 1994 data. All the sources down to 14.5 magnitude
that 'failed' completeness and reliability were examined to determine the reasons
for the failures.
These data were taken with the refurbished prototype camera. The M92 region was covered 10 times giving each point source 10 possible confirmations. To determine completeness and reliability, the pipeline output point source files were run through a 'confirmation' processor to match up sources found in more than 1 scan.
