for a polarization observation

= number of stabilization exposures is found in Figures gif and gif or with the formulae in paragraphs gif and gif for the flux step between the previous observation and the flux on the free hole. It is applied only once, at the beginning of the measurements on the free hole.

When passing from the free hole to the first polarizer, there is again a flux step between the fluxes FROM = (zodi + source) and TO = . The system forces an additional cycle (counted in the overheads) to to take care of the stabilization for this step, so that the actual number of cycles performed during an observation is + 1.
