The application for participation in the next class of NITARP is now available at http://nitarp.ipac.caltech.edu/ . Applications are due Sep 21 for a 2013 NITARP experience. NITARP, the NASA/IPAC Teacher Archive Research Program, enables teachers to become involved in authentic astronomical research. We partner small groups of educators with a mentor professional astronomer for an original research project. The educators incorporate the experience into their classrooms and share their experience with other teachers. The program runs January 2013 through January 2014. Applications are available now and due on September 21.
