Seppo Laine

Seppo's main interests lie in the areas of galaxy dynamics and evolution. More specifically, Seppo is interested in how mergers between galaxies reshape the centers of galaxies, and how bar structures in galaxies are related to central star formation and active galactic nuclei. Seppo's previous work includes studies of small nuclear bars and nuclear spiral structures within the bulges of disk galaxies.
