1. Theoretical Research (TR) and Laboratory Astrophysics (LA) Funding

The deadline for proposals to request funding for Herschel-related theoretical astrophysics and laboratory astrophysics is August 1st, 2007, 5.00 pm PDT. More details about the program and how to apply are given at the proposal kit webpage:

2. NASA funding of US-based participation in Herschel Open Time Key Programs

US-based investigators who are proposing to ESA for Herschel Open Time Key Programs (OTKP) have the opportunity to obtain funding for successful proposals. The deadline for acceptance of the Key Program Data Analysis (DA/KP) funding proposals is October 26, 2007 at 5.00 pm PDT.

B. HSC OPEN TO RECEIVE PROPOSALS

We are pleased to announce the official opening of the Call for Herschel Open Time Key Programmes as of 9 July 2007.

You are kindly invited to submit your proposals from now until the closure of the call on 25 October 2007 at 12:00 UT.
